Abstract
Bengkalis Island is one of the islands located in the open ocean. The north side of Bengkalis Island is facing directly to the Malacca Strait. This causes Bengkalis Island to be vulnerable to abrasion and tidal flooding. Abrasion disasters and tidal flooding are related, which are caused by ocean waves. The purpose of this study was to identify the risk of multi-disaster abrasion and tidal flooding on Bengkalis Island, using quantitative descriptive methods using scoring and weighting analysis techniques based on Perka BNPB No. 2 of 2012 and analysis using Geographic Information System (GIS) applications to determine the area of the area. . Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (1) the percentage of village area with high category abrasion threat is 9.06% of the research area, the high category tidal flood threat is 32.77%. (2) The low category vulnerability is 29.81%. (3) The capacity of the high category is 26.70%. (4) The risk of abrasion in the high category is 19.4%, the risk of the tidal flood in the high category is 16.41%. (5) The risk of multi-disaster abrasion and tidal flooding is high category 16.41%.
