Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of single and interaction between various types of PGR and POC concentrations of fish offal on the growth of guava cuttings. This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the UPT Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kubang Jaya Km 5, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau. This research will be carried out for 5 months, starting from May to September 2021. This research was conducted using a 2-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD), the first factor was Growth Regulatory Substance (Z) consisting of 4 levels, namely coconut water, cow urine, tomato extract and onion extract and the second treatment factor The concentration of Liquid Organic Fertilizer Fish Offal (J) consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 100, 200, and 300 ml/l, so there were 16 combinations with 3 replications, so a total of 48 experimental unit. Parameters observed were growth percentage, age of budding, number of shoots, longest shoot length, stem girth, and root volume. The results of this study indicate that the interaction effect of various types of growth regulators and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer of fish offal is significant for all parameters observed. The best treatment was a combination of PGR of Shallot Extract 5 ml/l and POC concentration of fish offal 300 ml/l (Z4J4). The main effect of various types of growth regulators was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment was PGR of Shallot Extract 5 ml/l (Z4). The main effect of the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer of fish offal was real on all observation parameters. The best treatment was the concentration of Fish Offal POC 300 ml/l (J4).
