Abstract
The Effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) Implementation on Operational Performance at a Typical Pekanbaru Hotel ANNISA UTAMI 185210308 This study aims to determine the effect of implementing total quality management which is manifested in 4 basic pillars, namely customer satisfaction, employee empowerment, continuous quality improvement and fact-based management on operational performance at Khas Pekanbaru Hotel. The research sample used was 60 respondents who were divided into 30 employee respondents and 30 customer respondents (guests) and the sample was taken using purposive sampling method. Methods of data analysis using simple linear regression, correlation analysis of determination, classical assumptions and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, the implementation of total quality management with customer orientation dimensions, quality orientation dimensions, employee empowerment dimensions, and management dimensions based on the facts in total quality management has a significant positive effect on operating performance.
