Abstract

The purpose of this study is to minimize the impact ofgrouping service based on service priorities that impact data traffic and to assess and evaluate the performance of several queues in Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks and Non-MPLS networks with Differentiated Service (Diffserv). The benefit of this research is to analyze the role of the queuing algorithm in MPLS and Non-MPLS with Diffserv. The research method uses data collection techniques, namely secondary data such as books, literature related to the problem being discussed. The results of the study show thatqueues Priority Queuing (PQ)have a better Quality of Service (QoS) value compared toqueues. First In First Out (FIFO) andqueues Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ).
