Abstract

The research entitled "Analysis of Syntactical Language Errors in Tribun Pekanbaru Newspaper News" because language errors were still found, both oral and written as found in newspapers. In addition, this study aims to add insight into the analysis of clan language errors as a final project to fulfill the requirements for obtaining an IS bachelor's degree. The problem of this research is how are the language errors at the syntax level of the phrase in the news of the New Tribune newspaper?. The theory used is the theory put forward by Setyawati (2010) and several theories supporting experts. The method used is a qualitative method. The data collection technique used is documentation and herrneutic techniques. The results of the analysis of the analysis of language errors at the syntactic level in the newspaper news of the Pelwnbaru Tribune are the influence of the regional language, there are 3 data, the use of inappropriate prepositions contains 1 data, the incorrect word order contains 1 data, the use of excessive or redundant elements is 7 data, Excessive use of the superlative form contains I data, double plurality contains I data, and the use of the wrong reciprocal form contains I data.
