Abstract
The problem of failure of the cementing process often occurs due to the composition of additives that are not in accordance with the needs of a well, be it gas, oil or geothermal wells. In order for the cementing results to be as desired, the properties of the cement slurry must be in accordance with the needs of the well. Cement slurry is said to be good for use in the cementing process, seen from several parameters including compressive strength, shear bond strength and thickening time according to the target. There are several additives that are commonly used as accelerators such as Calcium Chloride, Gypsum, and Silica. However, this time, to increase the value of compressive strength, shear bond strength and thickening time, natural zeolite accelerator will be added to the cement slurry with various concentrations through analysis in the laboratory. The result is the addition of natural zeolite additives, the lowest thickening time value is at 15% additive concentration of 47 minutes, the highest compressive strength value is 2174 psi with 15% additive concentration and the highest shear bond strength is 297 psi with 15% additive concentration cement weight.
