Abstract

This research has been carried out in the experimental gardens of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru, for 4 months starting from July to October 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction of palm oil sludge solid waste and Mutiara 16:16:16 NPK fertilizer on growth and production renek long beans (Vigna unguiculata var. Sesquapedalis). This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors with 3 replications. The first factor is palm oil sludge solid waste consisting of 4 levels, 0, 0.84, 1.68, 2.52 kg / plot and the second factor is NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, 0, 10, 20, 30 g / plant. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), widest leaf area (cm2), age of flowering (day), age of harvest (day), number of pods per plant (fruit), longest pod length (cm), pod weight per plant (g), number of remaining pods / plants (fruit), and root volume (cm3). Data were analyzed statistically and continued at BNJ level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of palm oil sludge solid waste and Mutiara 16:16:16 NPK fertilizer had an effect on the parameters of plant height, widest leaf area, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods per plant, longest pod length, and pod weight of crops. The best treatment is a combination of palm oil sludge solid waste with a dose of 2.52 kg / plot and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer with a dose of 30 g / plant. The main effect of real oil palm sludge solid waste on all parameters with the best treatment is oil palm sludge solid waste with a dose of 2.52 kg / plot. The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer significantly on all parameters with the best treatment dose of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 30 g / plant.
