Abstract

Service innovations from the online passport queue registration application can be downloaded via smartphones in the playstore and app store. For those who do not have a smartphone, the online queue can be accessed through the website queue.imigration.go.id. In recent years, the immigration ranks have continued to strive to improve services through innovations to meet people's expectations in public services. Based on the Circular of the Director General of Immigration Number IMI-UM.01.01-4166 regarding Implementation. The Online Passport Application Queue Registration (APAPO) application in 2017 throughout Indonesia is expected to be a breakthrough alternative in meeting the needs of the community. This policy is carried out based on the results of an evaluation from the Directorate General of Immigration regarding services that are often complained of by the public, namely the queue for passport applications. In this study, it is known that there are several people who can be used as informants including 1 Head of Office as a key informant, and 1 Head of Information Technology Section, as well as 2 community members as research informants who are considered the most competent and know the problems to be studied and are able to provide information. information that can be developed to obtain data. Based on the research analysis, it is known that the implementation of public service innovation in the use of the online queue registration application for making passports at the Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I Kota Pekanbaru has been going well, this can be seen from the public's interest in managing passports and the public's response. In addition, implementation based on standard operating procedures makes this program innovation more focused and on target.
