Abstract

In meeting the stock of medicines in the Class I Rutan Pekanbaru, of course there is a need for assistance in the form of cooperation with related agencies in order to meet all the necessary needs, the health office is one of the agencies that can cooperate in the form of joint synergy. with the detention center in Pekanbaru City. However, what form of cooperation is and what is its effectiveness in meeting the necessary needs must be able to be studied further so that all services provided can run optimally. Knowing what are the obstacles that often occur in the field in the implementation of the provision of health rights, the researchers tried to approach qualitative research by conducting in-depth interviews with research sources. So this study provides an illustration that the results of the researcher's elaboration determine the rights of health services for prisoners consisting of prisoners entitled to proper health services, including the availability of adequate medicines, prisoners have the right to a clean environment, prisoners have the right to information and education about health. So the work synergy between the Pekanbaru Class I State Detention Center and the Health Office in Riau Province is a work synergy that already has a clear workflow. However, the problem factor in the Pekanbaru Class I State Detention Center which is overcrowded makes the work synergy ineffective in its implementation. The availability of drugs that should fit in the prison is inadequate considering the number of correctional residents in the detention center has exceeded the capacity of the detention center itself.
