Abstract

The longer production runs will experience a decrease due to reduced reservoir pressure and the produced fluid has a heavy density, so it is overcome by artificial lift (gas lift). Gas lifts are carried out by utilizing external sources with high pressure gas to reduce fluid density and lift well fluids. The principle underlying the method of lifting gas lift continuously is the energy produced from the expansion of gas from high pressure to low pressure is used to increase fluid flow and the utilization of gas energy is done by continuous injection of controlled gas flow into the well making it easier to lift the well fluid . The purpose of this study is to determine the injection point depth of the gas lift design, determine the amount of injected gas, analyze the depth ratio of each valve (valve spacing) manually and wellflo software, and analyze the ratio of the amount of pressure injected for setting open / close each valve automatically wellflo manuals and software. Wellflo manual and software design were compared to find out whether the results of the wellflo manual and software design were the same or there were significant differences. Based on the calculation of gas lift manually and wellflo software performed, the injection point obtained for the manual design is (3150 ft, 470psi) with the amount of gas injected at 1,322 MMSCF / D and for software design (3100ft, 410psi) with the amount the injected gas is 1.002 MMSCF / D. For comparative analysis of the determination of the valve and valve opening and opening pressure in the design obtained 5 gas lift valves as follows: For the first valve manual design at a depth of 1050 ft with a set pressure of 502 psi, the second valve at a depth of 1800 ft with a set pressure of 436 psi, the third valve at 2300 ft depth with a pressure set of 431 psi, a fourth valve at a depth of 2650 ft with a set pressure of 428 psi, and a fifth valve at a depth of 2950 ft with a set pressure of 0 psi. For the design of the first valve software at a depth of 924 ft with a set pressure of 536 psi, the second valve at a depth of 1600 ft with a set pressure of 523 psi, the third valve at a depth of 2151 ft with a set pressure of 508 psi, the fourth valve at a depth of 2596 ft with a set pressure of 481 psi , and the fifth valve at a depth of 3041 ft with a set pressure of 0 psi.
