Abstract

The background of this reseach was that the building of students‟ moral is an integral part and cannot seperated from education field. This building condition is really need where science and technology is increasing rapidly, western culture is prevalent and globalization is widespread increasingly without filtering. For example, the life style of the hedonist and consumerist who are so symptomatic, television is not shown educated program, online situations that are easy to access, and others are soft land for children to imitate what is seen or noticed. Based on preliminary reseach was done at PMIPTI Pekanbaru, it found lack of students‟ moral that can be seen from as follows: lack of discipline of organizational members in conducting the lecture, students‟ ethics to the lecturer in lecturing was low and students‟ communication ethics also was not good. The formulation of the problem in this reseach; how was The Building of Students‟ moral in Islamic Students‟ Organization Patani (South Thailand) (PMIPTI) in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The main objective of this reseach was to find out The Building of Students‟ moral in Islamic Students‟ Organization Patani (South Thailand) (PMIPTI) in Pekanbaru. This was quantitative reseach. Population of this reseach was Islamic Students‟ Organization Patani (South Thailand) (PMIPTI) in Pekanbaru with the total number were 80 students and all the population was be the sample in this reseach. Questionnaire was used in collecting the data. After collecting and analyzing the data, the result of this reseach was 86.78% or in range of 81% - 100% where categorized in to “very good”, it means The Building of Students‟ moral in Islamic Students‟ Organization Patani (South Thailand) (PMIPTI) in Pekanbaru, Indonesia was very good.
