Abstract

Interpersonal Communication is the process of exchanging information, face-toface interaction between two or several people, by other people or small groups where the sender can deliver the message directly, and the recipient of the message can receive and respond directly also with various impacts and with opportunities to provide immediate feedback. The purpose of this study is to find out how Interpersonal Communication between General Managers who are also concurrently serving as Public Relations at Aulia Hospital in establishing good communication with Specialist Doctors, and also knowing the Obstacles and Efforts faced by General Managers at Aulia Hospital in maintaining and establishing cooperation with Doctors Specialist. This research uses descriptive qualitative method in which the data collection techniques use the documentation technique, and the interview process. The number of informants chosen was 3 people, namely 1 Management (General Manager) of Aulia Hospital who also doubles as Public Relations, and also 2 Specialist Doctors based on having worked at Aulia Hospital for 2-3 years. The results of this study indicate that Interpersonal Communication that occurs between the General Manager and the Specialist Doctors at Aulia Hospital has been going well and running smoothly, this is indicated by the achievement of Interpersonal Communication Effectiveness. The conclusion of this study is Interpersonal Communication that runs smoothly due to the attitude of Openness, Empathy, Positive Behavior (Positive), Supportive or supportive behavior (Supportivenes), and Equality (Equality), with all the indicators included in achieving Interpersonal Communication Effectiveness . As for the Obstacles and Efforts passed by the General Manager of Aulia Hospital, they have been handled or faced well, and with the best solution.
