Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the interaction of cow rumen compost and organic NPK on the growth of Dayak onion production. This study used a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is cow rumen compost (K) consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0, 1, 2 and 3 kg per plot. The second factor, namely: organic NPK fertilizer (N) consisted of 4 levels, namely: 0, 20, 40 and 60 g per plot so that 16 treatment combinations were obtained. Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times for a total of 48 experimental units. Parameters observed were: plant height, harvest age, number of tubers per clump, number of tillers per clump, wet tuber weight per clump, dry tuber weight per clump, tuber shrinkage and dry weight of simplicia. The data were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance with a further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of cow rumen compost and organic NPK was significant for all observed parameters. The best treatment was giving cow rumen compost at a dose of 3 kg per plot and organic NPK at a dose of 60 g per plot (K3N3). The main effect of the dose of cow rumen compost was real on all observation parameters, the best treatment was a dose of 3 kg per plot (K3). The main effect of organic NPK dose was significant on all observation parameters, where the best treatment was a dose of 60 g/plot (N3).
