Abstract
Self-adjustment is a human effort to be able to achieve harmony between itself and the surrounding environment. Ethnic Chinese living in Indonesia will prefer to school their children in private schools compared to public schools. However, not all ethnic C hinese are able to school their children in private schools, there are also some who choose to school their children in public schools. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of self - adjusting in ethnic Chinese students attending a publi c school, the sample of this study was 38 students. Research sampling techniques using the saturation Sampling technique. Research Data is taken using a self Penyesuian scale. The result of this study was derived that ethnic Chinese students have a moderat e self - customizers rate of 34.2%.
