Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Implementation of the Maintenance and Maintenance Program for Public Street Lights in Pekanbaru City. The assessment indicators used include the Planning Phase and the Implementation Phase of Development Programs and Projects. This type of research is a descriptive survey, which prioritizes the interview list as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is used as the main material to analyze the empirical conditions and the objectivity of this research. The informants in this study amounted to 12 people. The types and techniques of data collection consist of primary data collected using interview techniques, and secondary data using observation and documentation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is triangulation technique. Based on this analytical technique, the researchers assessed and concluded that the Analysis of the Implementation of the Maintenance and Maintenance Program for Public Street Lighting Lights in Pekanbaru City was in the category of Sufficiently Implemented. The inhibiting factor is that the Department of Transportation is the sole actor in the implementation of the maintenance and maintenance program for public street lighting in Pekanbaru City and does not cooperate with third parties, besides that in terms of budget conditions and facilities and infrastructure that are still lacking, then from the amount of resources needed Limited resources are an obstacle in handling complaints from the people of Pekanbaru City and the vast area of Pekanbaru City is not proportional to the number of resources and facilities owned by the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service, so that the implementation of the maintenance and maintenance program for public street lighting in Pekanbaru City has not been able to run optimally.
