Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between eye-hand coordination and concentration on service results for volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 3 Tambusai. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study were members of the volleyball extracurricular at SMA Negeri 3 Tambusai, totaling 23 people. The sampling technique was total sampling and the number of samples was 23 people. The instruments used are the ball throwing test at the target, the grid concentration test and the volleyball service test. The results of the calculations carried out obtained a correlation index x1y of 0.503. The results of the calculations carried out obtained the x2y correlation index of 0.214. The results of the calculations carried out obtained a correlation index x1x2y of 0.535. The conclusions of this study are 1) There is a relationship between eye and hand coordination on the results of serving on volleyball in volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 3 Tambusai. with a percentage of 25.3%. 2) There is no relationship between concentration and service results for volleyball in volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 3 Tambusai. with a percentage of only 8.6%. 3) there is a relationship between eye and hand coordination and concentration together on the results of serving on volleyball in volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 3 Tambusai. with a percentage of 28.6%.
