Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of leg muscle power and flexibility to the service ability of the sepak takraw game in the Simpang Mangga (Gesima) Generation Players of Sepak Takraw Club, Kelayang District, Indragiri Hulu. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study were 12 football players. The sampling technique was total sampling, thus the number of samples was 12 people. The instruments used are the vertical jump test, the Front Splits test and the tarkaw service test. The data analysis technique is product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The conclusions of this study are: 1) There is no contribution of leg muscle power to the accuracy of serving on the Simpang Mangga Generation (Gesima) Sepak Takraw Club players, Kelayang Indragiri Hulu District with a percentage of 8.1%. 2) There is no contribution of flexibility to service accuracy for the Simpang Mangga Generation (Gesima) Sepak Takraw Club player, Kelayang District, Indragiri Hulu with a percentage of 1.2%. 3) There is no simultaneous contribution of leg muscle power and flexibility to the accuracy of service for the Simpang Mangga Generation (Gesima) Sepak Takraw Club player, Kelayang Indragiri Hulu District with a percentage of 8.3%.
