Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the effect of performance maqasid syariah against credit risk in Islamic commercial banks. Population in This research is a sharia commercial bank (BUS) registered with the service authority finance (OJK) as many as 14 BUS. In this study the samples were carried out using purposive sampling method so that the sample consists of six banks general sharia. The data analysis technique used in this research is panel data regression method using eviews 10. Based on the analysis conducted to obtain results that there is a positive and significant effect on maqasid index on credit risk in Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia 2014-2018 is shown in an index of 0.0999880 with a probability of 0.0135. Where the greater the value of the maqasid index in Islamic commercial banks it is unlikely that there will be risk to Islamic banks. So is conversely, the smaller the maqasid index value, the more likely it will be there is a risk to Islamic commercial banks, especially credit risk.
