Abstract
Development of Ecotourism-Based Mangrove Forest Attractions in Sungai Rawa Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency Nita Yuliana 143410012 ABSTRACT Tourism is one of the five 2017 priority development sectors, that is: food, energy, maritime, tourism, industrial areas and Special Economic zones. The growth of tourism as an industry must consider the guarantee of tourism resources to be maintained and still be enjoyed by future generations. Ecotourism can be a good alternative form of tourism in accordance with experience and respect for the environment. To achieve ecotourism, ecotourism principles need to be developed to achieve sustainable development. This study uses primary data in the form of field observations and questionnaires and secondary data, analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods and analyzed using IFAS-EFAS. The results of the study resulted in the principles of ecotourism development in the form of economic principles in the development of mangrove forest attractions with various indicators supporting economic principles to get a total score of 83.7%. The social principle in the development of mangrove forest attractions with various indicators supporting social principles gets a total score of 90.6% while the physical principle of the environment in the development of mangrove forest attractions with various supporting indicators of the physical environment principle gets a total score of 92.16%. Assessment of tourism object readiness by using CBE and calculating four aspects: socio-economic, sociocultural, environmental and management with a total score of 1,800 good categorized. The concept of developing ecotourism-based mangrove forest attractions uses IFAS-EFAS analysis and produces priority levels of development from community involvement to the promotion of ecotourism programs to the wider community.
