Abstract

This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11 No.113 Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya Subdistrict, Pekanbaru. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main effects of corn litter compost and superior plant hormones on long bean (Vigna sinensis L.) plants. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of two factors, the first factor was the dose of corn litter compost (K) consisting of 4 levels: 0, 375, 750, 1125 g / plant. The second factor is Superior Plant Hormone (H) which consists of 4 levels: 0, 2, 4, 6 g / plant. The parameters observed were root volume, plant biomass, age of flowering age of harvest, number of fruit crops, weight of fruit, fruit weight of crop. The last observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ advanced test at the level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of corn litter compost and superior plant hormones had a significant influence on all parameters observed except flowering age, the best treatment was the dose of corn litter compost 1125 g / plant and plant hormone concentration of 6 cc / l water (K3H3). The main effect of real corn litter compost on all parameters, where the best treatment is the dose of corn litter compost 1125 g / plant (K3). The main effect of superior plant hormones was real on all parameters observed, where the best treatment was the concentration of plant hormones superior to 6 cc / l water (H3).
