Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the effect of placement and work experience on employee performance in the production sector at PT. Bengkalis Dockindo Perkasa. The sample in this study amounted to 40 people using the census method in sampling, the data was processed using IBM SPSS 24.0 as a research analysis tool. This study uses quantitative methods that use primary data and secondary data obtained through research questionnaires and then tabulated and linked to the theoretical basis in the literature review. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis shows that the variables of placement and work experience have a positive effect on employee performance and the closeness of the relationship is categorized as very strong. The placement variable (X1) partially has an influence between the placement variable and the employee performance variable. The work experience variable (X2) partially has an influence between the work experience variable and the employee performance variable. The f test shows that together the variables of placement and work experience have a positive and significant influence on employee performance.
