Abstract

This accounting implementation research was executed in Marpoyan Damai and Tampan Subdistricts on Pekanbaru at the second motorcycle showroom business which amounted to 15 businesses. This purpose of this research was to determine the suitability of accounting treatment to the second motorcycle showroom business in Marpoyan Damai and Tampan subdistricts in Pekanbaru was in accordance with thw basic concepts of accounting. This research is qualitative research, which ia a research effort in which the data generated is descriptive of the writing and the responses obtained from observing the subject itself. This research used a descriptive analysis method and used a purposive sampling technique procedure in sampling. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. In this research the data collection techniques in the form of documentation and structured interviews. The data that has been obtained are then combined according to their respective types. Based on the research that has been carried out and the discussion that has been described, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the second motor showroom business in Marpoyan Damai and Tampan subdistrict is not in accordance with the basic accounting concepts.
