Abstract

ABSTRACT SHARIA COOPERATIVE ROLE IN INCREASING UMMAH ECONOMIC PROSPERITY (Case Study Mandiri Sharia Cooperative Mahato Village North Tambusai Subdistrict Rokan Hulu Regency) By: FERI JOKO PURWANTO NPM. 172310064 Sharia cooperative was a target of the community’s economic movement, where (ta’awun) the contract had an Islamic value that contributed to community’s economic life. Increasing community’s prosperity and togetherness were the basic for the development of sharia cooperatives in Indonesia, sharia cooperatives hopefully could develop members prosperity and increased wider community prosperity, prosperous in life was a sharia purpose. This research used qualitative descriptive. The primer data was Misnan as a cooperative chairman, Sujono as a cooperative secretary, H. Sarman as a cooperative treasurer and members of Mandiri sharia cooperative. Data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation method. The data proceed by data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion and verification. Mandiri Sharia Cooperative Mahato Village North Tambusai Subdistrict Rokan Hulu Regency had been done many strategies in increasing society’s economic prosperity where it could stabilize palm price that helped people in Mahato Village savored the palm farming better. Also, mandiri Sharia Cooperative gave non-interest loan to the members either in form of money or goods, where the goods such as fertilizer, pest medicine or everything needed to help developed oil palm farmers.
