Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of classroom management on student learning outcomes in class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. The problem is whether there is an influence of classroom management on student learning outcomes? The total population of 189 students and the sample in this study were all taken in accordance with the total population of 189 students consisting of 6 classes. Data collection techniques in research using descriptive analysis techniques, using data collection tools, namely questionnaires and a list of students' daily test scores. While processing the data is to do calculations with the SPSS program with simple linear regression analysis techniques. Tested with the results of the study there is a significant influence of classroom management on learning outcomes obtained value of t arithmetic known value of tcount 3.209> ttable 1.653 then Ha is accepted because the coefficient a is significant, then in addition to tcount and ttable the researcher can make a comparison with a significant 0.002 is much smaller than 0, 05 (sig 0.002 <0.05) thus Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted meaning that there is an influence of class management (X) on learning outcomes (Y). Classroom management with indicators Creating the right climate, managing the learning space, and managing the interaction of teaching and learning activities affect student learning outcomes in economic subjects in class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru.
