Abstract

ABSTRACT AN ANALYSIS OF EMPLOYEE EMPOWERMENT AT THE COMPANY OF HAJJ AND UMRAH ORGANIZER IN PEKANBARU CITY (A Study at Pandi Kencana Murni.Ltd of Pekanbaru) BY SAHMINAN NASUTION 172310150 The aim of this study is to explain the employee empowerment and its dimensions clearly as well as in order to investigate the employee empowerment at the company that organize hajj and umrah in Pekanbaru city. The type of this study is a qualitative descriptive survey. The data information of this study is obtained from research informants, observations and document surveys to get an overview of the company’s internal empowerment activities. The data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. This study is intended to make the employees can improve their personal initiative and independence so that the employees are able to identify and assume a sense of psychological ownership of their work and respond more creatively when given responsibility because the employees are expected to contribute optimally to the company. The results of this study show that the employees have full responsibility to carry out all their obligations and jobs, and make Pandi Kencana Murni.Ltd of Pekanbaru is better known to the public, especially in the city of Pekanbaru. The company also continues to evaluate and motivate employees to always improve their performance, accept their ideas and input as well as direct participation which is a part of employee engagement and maintain good communication between the management and the employees. The study results based on the dimensions of ability, authority, trust, and responsibility are very good. Finally, it can be concluded that the employee empowerment at Pandi Kencana Murni.Ltd of Pekanbaru is included in the good category.
