Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction of various types of Bokashi and AB Mix nutrients on cocoa plant seedlings. The first factor is various types of bokashi (Factor B) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely no bokashi, chicken dung bokashi, goat dung bokashi and cow dung bokashi. and the second factor is AB Mix Nutrition (Factor M) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely AB Mix with concentrations of 1000 ppm, 1500 ppm, 2000 ppm, and 2500 ppm. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, total leaf area, stem diameter, chlorophyll content, rate of photosynthesis, and stomatal conductivity. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with the honest significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of various types of bokashi and AB Mix nutrients had a significant effect on the parameters of chlorophyll content, photosynthetic rate, and stomatal conductivity. Mainly, various types of bokashi have a significant effect on the parameters of plant height and number of leaves with the best type of bokashi found in the type of chicken manure bokashi. AB Mix nutrients significantly affect the parameters of total leaf area and stem diameter with the best concentration of AB Mix nutrients found at a concentration of 2500 ppm.
