Abstract

ABSTRACT FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE EFFECT, FINANCIAL ATTITUDE AND INCOME ON FINANCIAL BEHAVIOR IN SMALL AND MEDIUM MICRO BUSINESS IN DAMAI MARPOYAN DISTRICT BY : Dandy Aditya NPM. 165210495 The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of Financial Knowledge, Financial Attitude and Income on Financial Behavior in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Marpoyan Damai District. This research was conducted with descriptive and quantitative methods using secondary data. The sample in this study were 37 UMKM in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City with purposive sampling method. The results obtained that Financial Knowledge (financial knowledge) has a positive relationship but does not have a significant effect on financial behavior (financial behavior). A person's high financial knowledge does not determine that someone will also have good financial knowledge of financial behavior. Financial Attitude (financial attitude) has a positive relationship and a significant effect on financial behavior (financial behavior). A high financial attitude will affect a person's behavior, the better financial behavior (financial behavior) and also someone who gives a good perception of his financial behavior, the individual can carry out wise and responsible financial behavior. Income has a positive relationship and has a significant effect on financial behavior (financial behavior). Individuals who have high incomes are able to manage their expenses well, which is caused by good and responsible behavior and a tendency to think long term.
