Abstract
During the Covid-19 pandemic, online drivers were significantly impacted by the decrease in users of online transportation services, which caused many online drivers to feel uncertainty and insecurity at work or what is known as job insecurity. Psychological Capital can be the main capital to recover and rise from the covid-19 outbreak. The components of Hope, Efficacy, Resilience, and Optimism have the effect of finding strong actions to be able to deal with the covid-19 outbreak. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of psychological capital on job insecurity in online drivers during the covid-19 pandemic. This study involved 100 online drivers in Pekanbaru who were selected using accidental sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Statistical analysis used in this research is simple linear regression, with the help of SPSS version 17.0 for windows program. The results show that there is an influence of psychological capital on job insecurity online drivers R= - 0.658, p > = 0.005. The value of psychological capital contribution to job insecurity is 42.8, while other factors that affect job insecurity are 57.2. This shows that the large influence of psychological capital on job insecurity on online drivers during the COVID-19 pandemic in this study was 42.8%. This means that the psychological capital variable can be considered as one of the job insecurity variables for online drivers during the covid-19 pandemic.
