Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve service under volleyball through a tool modification method for grade 5 A students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 150 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is CAR. The subjects of this study were students at the Va grade 150 public elementary school Pekanbaru, with a total of 38 people. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the percentage value of classical completeness. Based on the analysis and discussion it can be concluded the results of the study that there is an increase in service under the volleyball through a method of modification of tools in class 5 A Sekolah Dasar Negeri 150 Pekanbaru with an average increase in student skills during the first cycle with the competent category but have not reached the classical completeness value of 80 %, only reached a percentage value of 76.32% with a total of 29 students completing students and with an average grade of 76.60. Whereas in the second cycle shows that the ability of students to perform service movements under the volleyball is better with a classical completeness value of 89.47% with a total of 34 students as well as with an average value of 80.55.
