Abstract

The development of this interactive e-book learning media is included in research and development (R&D). This study aims to produce an interactive e-book learning media on tissue culture sub-material on the material Structure and Function of Tissue in Plants that is valid. This development research using the ADDIE development model has three stages, namely Analysis, Design, and Development. The data collection instruments used were in the form of validation sheets and student response questionnaires that had been validated. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling. Data collection was carried out using validation sheets and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using a scale method analysis technique with a modified Likert scale. The results of the validation by media experts showed that the developed learning media got an average percentage of 90.30% (very valid). The results of validation by material experts get an average percentage of 90% (very valid). The results of validation by learning experts get an average percentage of 94% (very valid). Validation results were also obtained from three biology teachers by getting an average percentage of 95.15% (very valid). The developed learning media received a good response by students in three schools with an average percentage of 79.75% (good). So from the overall assessment, the average percentage of all validators is 91.62% with a very valid level of validity and it can be stated that the interactive e-book learning media developed is very valid to be used in learning.
