Abstract
This study aims to find out the relationship of the use of e-learning learning media towards learning results of science students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu academic year 2020/2021. The research was conducted from August to September 2021. This research is a correlational research and data collection using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The sample in this study was 184 students at random or random sampling technique. Data analysis in this study used the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results found that between the X variable (the use of e-learning learning media) and the Y variable (science learning results) has a correlation coefficient (rxy) of (0.776) which means the correlation value variable X and variable Y are included in the strong category. The results obtained from the calculation of each question in the questionnaire based on indicators are then calculated the average percentage and interpreted, (1) indicators of the use of e-learning (74.81%) in the good category; (2) indicators of the effect of using e-learning media (68.88%) in the good category; (3) e-learning characteristic indicators (65.1%) in the good category; (4) the usefulness indicator (71.95%) in the good category; (5) indicators of the implementation of e-learning-based learning (73.82%) in the good category; (6) indicators of the advantages of e-learning (76.63%) in the good category; (7) the weakness of e-learning (66.3%) in the good category. The conclusion is that the use of e-learning media on science learning outcomes for class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu students in the 2020/2021 academic year is included in the good category with an average percentage value of (71.07%). The significance test value is found that the variable X (use of e-learning learning media) and variable Y (science learning results), thitung (16.59) > ttabel (0.144) then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it means that there is a relationship between the use of e- learning learning media with students' science learning outcomes. Furthermore, the use of e-learning learning media (X) contributes 60.2% to the science learning results (Y) students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu academic year 2020/2021.
