Abstract
The purpose of this working paper is to determine and analyze the work discipline of employees at the General Administration and Personnel Bureau of the Universitas Islam Riau. The writing of this Working Paper is based on the author's interest in the level of discipline of employees at the General Administration and Personnel Bureau of the Islamic University of Riau. Work discipline is a tool used by managers to communicate with employees so that they are willing to change a behavior as well as an effort to increase one's awareness and willingness to obey all company regulations and applicable social norms. Good discipline reflects a person's sense of responsibility for the tasks assigned to him. This encourages work passion, morale, and the realization of organizational or company goals, employees and society. Discipline must be enforced in a company because without the support of good employee discipline, it is difficult to realize its goals.
