Abstract

Critical thinking is an important skill that must be mastered by students in the 21 century. So that this study aims to produce a product, namely Problem-Based Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills of Students on the Material of Three Variable Linear Equation System with Islamic Nuance for Class X which has been tested for validity. This research is also motivated by the limitations of teachers in developing questions that are the main components of the test instrument for assessing students‟ mathematics learning outcomes at school, and as an effort to hone and inmprove students‟ critical thinking skills. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Plomp Model, with stages: 1) Initial Investigation Phase, 2) Design Phase, 3) Realization/Construction Phase, 4) Test Phase, Evaluation, Revision and 5) Implementation Phase. The research data collection instrument is a product validation sheet of questions. The data collection technique used is validation data from 2 lecturers of Mathematics Eduction FKIP UIR and 2 mathematics techers each from MAN 01 Indragiri Hilir and SMA 1 Negeri Tembilahan. The data analysis technique used is validation data analysis. This product is only limited to measuring validity and has not yet reched the trial or deployment stage due to the covid-19 pandemic, so researchers cannot carry out the product trial process. From the results of the research, it was obtained thet the product validation results were 0.88 with a very valid category. From the results of the study, a product was obtained, namely a Question Based On Students‟ Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability in the Material of a Three Variable Linear Equation System with Oslamic Nuances for Class X which was tested for validity.
