Abstract

Customer is one of the most important part of stakeholder to protect, without customers, a businessman won’t be able to do the business. Because of that one of water depot business considering to do the protection for the customer, acording to the law No.8 on 1999 concerning implementation of customer protection. The main problem in this research is to knowing how the implementation of customer protection according to Law No. 8 on 1999 concerning implementation of customer protection, and what are the inhibiting factors wich resistances the implementation of customer protection on water depot CV. Murni for the customers. This studiy aims to determine how the implementation of customer protection according to Law No. 8 on 1999 concerning implementation of customer protection, and what are the inhibiting factors wich resistaces the implementation of customer protection on water depot CV. Murni for the customers.This study uses Sociological Law Research Methods (empirical) or Observational (observation research), wich is descriptive analysis, while collecting tool for the datas is trough interviews. Acording to the final research result is known that impelemtation of customer protection according to Law No. 8 on 1999 concerning implementation of customer protection trough a couple steps including rights and obligations of customers and the businessman, Also the content of agreement. And the implementation law of customer protection has many resistances, wich are customers aren’t aware about the law of customer protection and also the customers aren’t pays atention on their right that could be harmed by the businessman, in the other hand the businessman sometimes made mistakes, like the products contain murky water and not qualify the standards about the water gallon products and violate the strandards that made by ministry of health of Indonesia Republic. And how to solve the resistances is giving the explanation about customer protection according to Law No. 8 on 1999 concerning implementation of customer protection. So that the customers could submit the report to the court if any chances of violation did by the businessman.the water product must be checked two times every year, bassed on regulation of healt indonesia republic no 3 on 2004 concerning the hygine sanitaze, but in fact the water depot businesmen only checking up the water one time every five years.
