Abstract

Love is a basic emotion that is owned by humans and will never be exhausted to be used as a topic of discussion. Love has the power to make someone able to do anything for the sake of what he loves. The romantic relationship of adolescents with the opposite sex is often also referred to as dating which is closely related to the style of love. This study aims to determine the description of the phenomenon of love in adolescents in the z generation in SMAN 1 Perhentian Raja. In this study the sample used amounted to 202 students of SMAN 1 Perhentian Raja who were selected using a random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used in this study is the Love Style Scale to measure differences in love styles in adolescents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the description of love style in adolescents based on age and gender is dominated by playful love style (ludos) 19.13% and altruistic love style 19.38% and there is no relationship between love style with factors of gender and adolescence.
