Abstract
This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools with the guided discovery method on the curved side space for class IX Junior High School, namely in the form of a lesson plan and a student worksheets that have been tested for validity. This research on the development of mathematics learning tools uses the Research and Development (R&D). but because of pandemic covid-19, only 6 staps are carried out, namely 1) potency & problem, 2) collected data, 3) design product, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, and 6) product final. Data collection instrument is a validation of paper lesson plan and a validation student worksheets. The data collection technique used was non-test using a questionnaire validation of paper from 2 lecturers of Mathematics Departement Faculty Teacher Training and Educatioan University Islamic of Riau and 1 mathematics teacher at Junior High School Negeri 4 Kunto Darussalam. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative analysis, of validation data analysis. From the results of the study, the results of the lesson plan validation were 88.53% with a very valid category and student worksheet at 88.71% with a very valid category. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the learning tools of mathematics using the Guided Inventor method on the material of Constructing Curved Side Spaces for class IX Junior High School were tested for validity.
