Abstract

The development of technology is increasingly rapid, especially in the field of education, so it is necessary to use technology in the teaching and learning process both by teachers and students. Interactive multimedia-based learning media is needed and is expected to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to determine the validity of interactive multimedia-based learning media using Adobe Flash Cs 6 Professional in the material relation and functions of class VIII MTs. This type of research is research and development using the plomp development model, which consists of: preliminary investigation (relimenery investigation), design (design), realization/construction (realization/construction), as well as tests, evaluations and revisions (test, construction). evaluation, revision). The data collection technique used is a non-test technique with data collection instruments in the form of a validation sheet filled out by the validator using a Likert scale. The data analysis used is quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results of the analysis of the average validation based on the opinion of experts, which is 90.88% which is included in the very valid category, while the validation based on the assessed aspects obtained an average of 90.68% which is included in the very valid category. Based on the results of research and development of interactive multimedia-based mathematics learning media using Adobe Flash Cs 6 Professional on the function relation material for class VIII MTs, it can be concluded that learning media has been proven to be valid.
