Abstract
This study aims to produce a mathematic learning tool in the form of a Handout based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in junior high school on the material of Relationship and Function that has been tested for validity. The type of research used is research with the Research and Development (R&D) method with the following steps: 1) Potential and problems, 2) Data collection, 3) Product design, 4) Design validation, 5) Design revision, and 6) Product end. Data collection in this study used an instrument in the form of a Handout learning device validation sheet. The data analysis technique used is a validation data analysis technique from four validators, namely 2 lecturer of the UIR mathematic education study program and 2 mathematic teacher at SMPN 3 Siak Hulu. From the results of the data analysis of the validation of learning tools, the average percentage of Handout validation is 87.39%, which can be concluded that the results of the validity of the development of learning tools are in the very valid category or can be used with minor revision.
