Abstract

This study aims to produce a mathematics learning tool, namely Student Worksheets (SW) with a Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to the material for Constructing Flat Sided Space in class VIII of SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. The development model in this research is the ADDIE model. The instrument and data collection technique used was a questionnaire in the form of a Student Worksheets validation sheet which was validated by 2 lecturers from the Mathematics Faculty of the Islamic University of Riau and 1 from the compulsory mathematics teacher at SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. Technical analysis of the data carried out is descriptive analysis, namely the technique used to describe the state of the object quantitatively. The results of the analysis of research validation by three validators obtained an average Student Worksheets validation of 87.5% which is included in the very valid category. The conclusion of the study shows that a Student Worksheet (SW) has been produced with a Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to the material for Constructing Flat Sided Space which is very valid.
