Abstract
A cooperative is said to be successful if the cooperative is able to improve the welfare of its members, overcome the economic problems faced by its members and is required to have the ability to serve the cooperative members with maximum service. This study aims to analyze: (1) The characteristics of the management, employees, and members of KUD Karya Maju, (2) The economic benefits provided by KUD Karya Maju, (3) The magnitude of the contribution of economic benefits to household income of members of KUD Karya Maju, (4) The service quality of KUD Karya Maju management and employees received by members. This research was conducted in Berumbung Baru Village for 7 months, starting from December 2019 - June 2020. The methods used in this research were interview and survey methods. Management and employee samples were taken by census consisting of 3 administrators and 10 employees and a purposive sample of 42 members of the cooperative with a total sample of 55 people. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively, as well as SERVQUAL and CSI analysis. The results of the research on the characteristics of the sample KUD Karya Maju that the average age of the management, employees and members are included in the productive age. The average male management, employees, and members were 78.18% and women 21.82%. The average education level of administrators, employees, and members is SMA. The average number of dependents of the family of the committee is 3 people, employees are 1.5 people and members are 3.02 people. The average management experience is 15.33 years, employees 5.3 years and members 12.26 years. The direct economic benefits from the FFB, fertilizer, and loan interest rates business unit in 2017 amounted to IDR 4,969,163,604.00 and experienced an increase in 2018 to become IDR 6,749,681,112.85. The average indirect economic benefits received by members in 2017 amounted to Rp. 210,823.77 and increased in 2018 to Rp. 534,443.70. The contribution of economic benefits to the household income of cooperative members in 2017 was 16.73% and increased in 2018 so that it became 24.25 %% .. The overall CSI calculation results show the level of member satisfaction with the service quality of KUD Karya Maju of 66, 61%. This means that most cooperative members are satisfied with the services provided by the management and employees of KUD Karya Maju, but it needs to be improved so that it becomes better.
