Abstract

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the community's economy has declined and to overcome this, one of the efforts made by the Indonesian government is to provide direct cash assistance from the Village Fund budget. Village funds, which were actually intended for village development and development, were transferred to cash assistance funds called the Village Fund Direct Assistance (BLT Dana Desa). The village government is less careful in distributing BLT-village funds so that there are still people who receive other social assistances who also get Direct Village Fund Cash Assistance. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the direct assistance program for the poor who have been affected by COVID-19 in the rice fields of the North Kampar subdistrict. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The theory used according to Sutrisno, which has indicators, among others, understanding the program, being on target, being on time, achieving goals, and real change. This research was conducted in Sawah Village, North Kampar sub-district. In selecting the key and informants using purposive techniques based on certain characteristics and characteristics. Data collection techniques using, interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques are primary and secondary data. Based on the results of research on the effectiveness of direct cash assistance from village funds for communities affected by covid 19 in Sawah village, North Kampar District, the direct cash assistance has not been fully realized because there are still people who get more than one assistance because there are still inaccurate data obtained. by the village government. Suggestions or input on this research to the village government in Sawah Village, North Kampar District, must be more careful in determining the target recipients of assistance so that the purpose of this direct cash assistance can be achieved.
