Abstract

The phenomenon of domestic violence experienced by children appears in many people's lives. Such as domestic violence perpetrated by biological fathers against their children. Meanwhile, every child has the right not to be treated with domestic violence, especially when the violence is carried out by his or her own biological parents. Criminal acts of domestic viol ence experienced by children where the perpetrators are their biological parents can cause trauma and a greater negative impact. It also has an impact on the child's psychology and on the development and future of the child. The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1) What are the factors that cause the occurrence of domestic violence crimes committed by biological fathers against children in the jurisdiction of the Lima Puluh Sector Police?, 2) What is the modus operandi of domestic violence crimes committed by biological fathers against children? children in the jurisdiction of the Fifty Police Sector?, 3) What are the countermeasures that have been taken to prevent the occurrence of domestic violence crimes committed by biological fathers against children in the jurisdiction of the Fifty Police Sector? This type of research is sociological law. This research goes directly to the field through observation and interviews. The nature of this research is descriptive which explains in full about domestic violence perpetrated by biological fathers against children in the jurisdiction of the Lima Puluh Sector Police. The results of this study are the factors causing the occurrence of domestic violence crimes committed by biological fathers against children in the jurisdiction of the Lima Puluh Police, namely the economy, education, psychology and social environment. The modus operandi of domestic violence crimes committed by biological fathers against children in the jurisdiction of the Lima Puluh Sector Police is in the name of domestic discipline and carried out at home. The countermeasures taken to prevent the occurrence of domestic violence crimes committed by biological fathers against children in the jurisdiction of the Lima Puluh Sector are as follows: maximum and optimal application of applicable laws and regulations, implementation of counseling for perpetrators, and implementation of activities socialization to the community related to domestic violence and the impact of domestic violence Keywords: Criminological Review, Domestic Violence, Children, Biological Father
