Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials for the biodiversity module of captured fish species in Bagan Prepareiapi Rokan Hilir in biology class X SMA. This research is a type of research and development with the development of the ADDIE method. The subjects of this study were fishermen and fish traders and the subjects of the module development were grade IX students at SMAN 1 Rimba Melintang, SMAN 2 Bangko Pusako and SMAN 2 Tanah Putih. The research data was obtained from validation sheets that were assessed by material experts, learning experts, biology teachers and response questionnaires obtained from the results of a limited trial from students. The results of this study indicate that the quality of the feasibility of the module based on the results of validation by material experts is in the very feasible category with an average percentage of 85.64% (very feasible), the validation results of learning experts get an average percentage of 92.34% (very feasible). , the results of the validation by three biology teachers got an average percentage of 88.82% (very decent), and the results of the trial on 45 students got an average percentage of 87.64% (very good). Based on these several categories, it can be concluded that the module teaching materials that have been developed are very feasible and can be used to assist the learning process of students.
