Abstract

In a boarding school environment, it is indeed very different from life outside the boarding school, the situation imposes a belief in yourself in taking action when facing difficult situation in students’ efforts to get results that matches their expectation. With this, resilience is needed with in a student. The aims of study is to determine the relationship between spiritual intelligence with resilience in students of Babussalam Islamic boarding school Pekanbaru. This is study involved students in class 1 and 2 of Babussalam Islamic boarding school in pekanbaru who were selected using random sampling. The technique use two scales, namely spiritual intelligence and resilience. The data analysis method used in this study is a product moment correlation analysis. The result of this study indicated that there is a relationship between spiritual intelligence with resilience in students of Babussalam Islamic boarding school with a correlation value of 0.550 with a value (p) 0,000 (p<0,05). These results indicated that there is a significant correlation with the positive relationship btween spiritual intelligence and the resilience of the students of Islamic boarding school Babussalam. It can be interpreted that the higher the spiritual intelligence, the higher resilience.
