Abstract
Adjustment is a person's ability to adapt to the environment by interacting with others in various social situations where a person has a belief or ability to be accepted by the environment. Someone has the ability to solve problems based on levels, strengths in different situations. This study intends to examine scientifically the relationship between self-efficacy and self-adjustment in Riau Islamic University students. Researchers use probability sampling methods and use random sampling techniques or simple randam for sampling. The instrument used for data collection in this study was a scale of self-efficacy and a scale of adjustment. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation using SPSS 20.0 for windows. Correlation analysis shows a correlation of 0.469 with a value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05) which indicates that there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and adjustment in students of the Riau Islamic University.
