Abstract
This research was conducted for 1 day starting from August 15, 2019 at the hatchery of Markam in Health Path RT.02 / RW.07 Number. 160 Marpoyan Bukit Raya Pekanbaru Riau, up to Kuala Panduk Village, Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine an effective and safe dose as an anesthetic agent for closed transportation of carp (C. carpio) seeds. The research method used was an experimental method using a randomized randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments 3 replications, namely P0 without administration of tuba root extract, P1 giving tuba root extract dose of 0.1 cc / liter, P2 dose 0.2 cc / liter, P3 dose of 0.3 cc / liter and P4 dose of 0.4 cc / liter. The carp seeds used are 6-8 cm in size. The results showed the survival of carp seeds P0 90%, P1 95%, P2 100%, P3 50% and P4 0%. Measurement of water quality at 25-30oC, water pH 7, dissolved oxygen from 4.38 to 5.82 ppm and amonia from 0.27 to 0.37 ppm.
