Abstract
This research has been carried out for 5 months starting from October 2018 - February 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main influence of giving oil palm compost tankos tricho and NPK 16:16:16. The experimental design used was factorial in a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the oil palm compost tankos (T) compost consisting of 4 levels namely 0, 90 g, 180 g, 270 g / plant. The second factor is NPK 16:16:16 (N) consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 30, 45, 60 g / plant, so there are 16 combinations of treatments with 3 replications. Thus this study consisted of 48 experimental plots. Each plot consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants used as observational samples so that the whole plant was 192 plants. The parameters that were measured were the addition of plant height, addition of the number of leaves, addition of the longest midrib stem length, addition of stem twists and root length. Data were analyzed statistically and continued at 5% BNJ level. The results showed the interaction of giving oil palm empty fruit bunches and NPK 16:16:16 influences to all observations parameters with the best combination of 270 g / plant and NPK 16:16:16 45 g / plant (T3N2). The main effect of giving oil palm empty fruit bunches compost tricho affects all parameters with the best treatment 270 g / plant. The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 was evident on all parameters with the best treatment of 45 g / plant
