Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the effect of office layout on employee performance in the Administrative Unit of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Islamic University of Riau in order to create effective and efficient employee work. Office layout plays an important role in improving the performance of employees' work to achieve common goals. Starting from the author's interest to raise this title because of the author's curiosity about Office Spatial Analysis at the Administration of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Islamic University of Riau. As long as the author carries out the Field Work Practice (PKL) the author sees that the layout of the office in the Administration section has a table arrangement of employees facing each other so that it is very possible for employees to often tell each other unimportant stories and not guarantee employee personal and work secrets. The analysis of the existing office layout in the Administration section is not in accordance with the office layout indicators.
