Abstract

The implementation of e-government system is the application of a system that is carried out in providing access to government services by electronic use. E-government provides new opportunities to improve the quality of government in realizing good governance. Through e-government, government services will be transparent and accountable. This research aims to study the implementation of e-government systems in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Riau Province and who implement them. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, which is field research by means of a descriptive survey of processed interviews qualitatively. Furthermore, the conclusions from this research can be described by me about the e-Government system at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion in the Province of Riau in that the service has been going well. Almost every service that exists in all programs or use electronic application systems both web based and online as well as manual applications. The success rate of implementing an e-government system is "moderate" or quite implemented because there are still many difficulties or difficulties that affect its implementation. The Ministry of Religion represents the central government or institutions that manage the government, which is called centralization
