Abstract

The sense of comfort and safety of toddlers is needed both safety at home and outside the home. Especially the safety and security of toddlers who tend to have accidents very often everywhere. Accident toddlers in the home environment and day care centers often occur as toddlers go out the door of the room without the knowledge of parents and the case is one of the triggers of anxiety parents and caregivers of toddlers. To overcome and reduce these problems, an alarm system using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is considered a solution that will provide a level of security and comfort. RFID utilizes radio waves to make the process of identification from a distance that is carried out without direct contact. The application of RFID is supported by fuzzy logic. The concept of fuzzy logic is simple and easy to understand. In developing this toddler security system, the concept of fuzzy logic used is fuzzy mamdani. Based on the results of the design and testing that have been done, it can be concluded that the Toddler Safety system in a Rapsberry Pi-based Home environment and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) can help parents or caregivers in monitoring their toddlers in the home environment or caregiving.
